Privacy Policy

The short version

QuantPit is built local-first. Your practice progress, streaks, and scores live in your own browser, not on our servers. An account is optional and stores only your email and your subscription status. We set analytics cookies only if you accept them, and payments are handled by Stripe, never by us directly.

What stays in your browser

Solved questions, marks, review schedule, XP, streaks, game and test history, your interview date, and your membership flag are stored in your browser's local storage under the key quantpit-v1. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Accounts (optional)

You can use almost all of QuantPit without an account. If you sign in, you give us your email address and we send you a link to sign in. Authentication is provided by Supabase, which stores your email address, sign-in timestamps, and your account role on our behalf.

If you subscribe, we also keep a subscription record linked to your account: its status, plan, renewal date, and Stripe customer reference. This is what lets your membership follow your email across devices. We do not store names, profile photos, or any practice data on the server. To delete your account and these records, contact us through the address listed on the site.

Analytics (opt-in)

If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate behavior: which pages are visited, which questions are attempted, traffic sources, and broad device and country information. IP addresses are anonymized. We do not sell this data, and we do not use it to identify you personally. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics events are sent. You can change your choice by clearing site data.

The custom events we record are limited to product signals such as a question being graded (with its topic and difficulty), a daily result being shared, and an assessment being completed. These carry no personal identifiers.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. When you check out, you are taken to Stripe's secure hosted page; QuantPit never sees or stores your card details. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy. We receive confirmation that a session was paid and subscription lifecycle updates (renewals, cancellations), which we use to keep your membership current. Billing changes and cancellation happen in Stripe's customer portal, reachable from your account page.

Support messages

If you write to us through the contact page, we store your email address and your message so we can reply and keep a record of the issue. Support messages are visible only to QuantPit's operators and are deleted on request.

Your choices

• Practice progress lives in your browser's local storage; clearing your browser data for this site removes it.
• Decline analytics in the consent banner, or clear cookies to revoke.
• Sign out at any time; your local practice data stays on your device.
• Request account and subscription record deletion by contacting us.
